Our first W.E. Rock competition was at Yerington, Nevada. We got our number, 019, after passing the technical inspection. Then we walked the course.
The next day the National Anthem played at 10:00 and the competitions began. Clayton entered The Sportsman Class A competition. Here are some videos and photos of his first course. He drove well for his first round, and had a blast! After the second course, the buggy had a problem with the fuel system (the fuel mat floated and broke the fuel supply tube). We were unable to repair it, even though we tried a few times. We ended up DNF’ing on course C3&4 on Saturday and unable to compete on Sunday.
