This is the only photo I have of the truck when it was new from the dealer. It had 31″ tires, no p/s, open diffs w/IFS. Through the years I installed 4.88 gears, 33″ Tires and 4.5 transfer case gears from O’brian 4×4. I wheeled all over the northwest and Rubicon with it. In 2008, I installed another transfer case. I added D44 axles with air lockers and 5.89 gears. I ran 37″ tires for a year.
I kept breaking axles. So, I installed a GMD60 front and a 14 bolt rear with air lockers. I installed a second transfer case. I Went with H2 wheels and 40″ tires, I installed a 3 Link front kit from 4wheel Underground. I also built a full exocage for the first time. I cut 14″ out of the bed. I cut a walk through for added seats for the kids. I wheeled on a few trails like Fordyce and the Rubicon. I switched back to 37″ tires in 2020, due to the high price of new 40″ tires. Then I went to new places with my son. We visited Sand Hollow and King Of The Hammers. We also explored more of the Rubicon until late 2023.
I parted the truck out in 2024 and bought parts to build a buggy.
